Hi! I'm Ris, and I'm so glad you found my online store!

Woodworking is in my genes, passed down through generations. Growing up in Kansas City, I was inspired by my dad and grandpa, who spent countless hours in their garage woodshops. Their passion and wisdom motivated me to design wood products that tell a story and serve a purpose.

I began my woodworking journey a few years ago, and it’s been a joy to share my pieces with others. My love for creating (and power tools) led me to start this small business!

With a deep appreciation for nature and natural living, I create wooden pieces that bring the beauty of nature indoors. You'll notice my logo and many of my materials feature my favorite flowers like sunflowers and thistles. As well as, earthy colors. 

My main focus is creating modern Montessori toys that promote natural family living and provide non-toxic educational experiences. My mom was a Montessori teacher, and being a Montessori kid myself, I truly value the calming, natural learning of play that Montessori teaches.

When I’m not in the workshop, you can find me walking barefoot in nature or cuddling with my husband and pup on the couch.
